News from 2015-2016:
«From fjord and field – to table» – for preschoolers up to 10th graders.
A cooperation between Atlanterhavsparken and Klippfiskakademiet (the Clipfish Academy).
Klippfiskakademiet teaches knowledge of food traditions in Møre og Romsdal as well as the use of food raw materials from sea and fields. One year’s pre-project, including cooperation with Atlanterhavsparken, preschool teachers as well as teachers from elementary school, has resulted in different teaching programs tested on more than 700 children and youth. All programmes are based on framework plans and curricula, and cover competence requirements within domestic science, nature studies and social subjects.
Klippfiskakademiet is situated on top of Atlanterhavsparken. Close to sea and with a marvelous view of our source of food, visitors are offered the best settings for realistic and experimental learning.
This project has been approved as an external supplier of «the natural school sack», which means that schools (not kindergartens) can apply for a school day at Tueneset.
